Prawn Cocktail

Prawn cocktail is a retro classic that always stands the test of time. The creamy Marie Rose sauce is made from store cupboard ingredients so is perfect for a budget-friendly starter that still feels like a treat.
Prep time : 15 mins
Serves : 2
- 250 g mayonnaise 
- 2 tbsp tomato ketchup 
- 1 tsp Tabasco 
- 1 lemon, juiced 
- ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce 
- 10 g fresh rocket leaves, washed and finely chopped 
- 660 g cooked prawns 
- 1 cos lettuce, leaved separated, washed and shredded 
- 1/2 tsp pepper 
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce and ketchup. 
- Add the Tabasco, then stir in the lemon juice and rocket leaves until well combined. Season to taste. Stir in the cooked prawns, reserving 4 to garnish. 
- Divide the shredded lettuce between glass dishes. Top with the prawn cocktail mixture and garnish each with a prawn and pepper.
